I printed this page out and taped it on the cabinet door above the washer. So should you.
Last night I got the kitchen all cleaned up, then I swept and mopped. I love the feeling of waking up before anyone else and walking barefoot into a clean kitchen. If the floor has just been mopped, the linoleum feels softer. Why is that?
I’m holding a sick and sad little BabyO. Cannot type anymore.
Wait a minute… you have a cabinet above your washer? Lucky.
Yes, the linoleum DOES feel softer. Yay for you!
I’m sure my neighbors wouldn’t mind if I posted a sign for all, in our shared laundry room. Though personally, I just wish they would empty that damn lint catcher, before the entire machine combusts with my clothes inside. 🙁 I have a feeling that water temperature is also ignored by those folks.
I love the feeling of a clean kitchen floor on bare feet. I haven’t felt that in years. Love the laundry chart, thanks.
In my house, if a fabric is going to be fussy about the way it needs to be washed and dried, then the hell with it. It has to take its chances like everyone else.
Being up in the morning before everyone else is the best. Waking up to a clean kitchen, no matter how late I did the dishes, is just not a thing that happens with teenagers hanging around. Enjoy it while you can before your kids begin cooking four-course meals in the middle of the night.
poor little Baby O! i’m so sorry i had to leave him. sniff-sniff.
