Heroine extraordinaire

Wow!!  Took a few days off from the computer (I’m never going to catch up with all my blog reading) and was unaware that the talented and amazing Badger is off to Houston to help at the Astrodome.  Scientists should quit cloning lambs and cats and clone her!

I’m sure that everyone has heard about what Barbara Bush said and how she laughed while saying it (among the countless other inane actions and more importantly INactions happening around this tragedy).  It’s so very hard to believe that people really think that way.  I do not understand.  Not even a little.

I’m going to go help the kids with homework and then we’ll make cookies.  I’m appreciating our small moments together more.  Except for the barf.  I’m not a saint, you know.

i’m so sorry about your sick willow. sick kids are the saddest thing in the world. except for the bush family. they’re really really sad. but in a different way. in a sick, twisted way that you’d feel sorry for if it weren’t so disgusting.

Huh. I guess its easy to use other for entertainment when you haven’t gone without. Because, you know, thousands of people dead, sick and homeless is definately something to “chuckle” about.

This whole situation is making me sick (as if I wasn’t already sick with the way Georgie Boy has handled things), and I am also having guilt issue — guilty for having a bed, a toliet to pee into at night, and knowing my kids are safely sleeping a few feet away. If I had the opportunity to talk to the people I would be crying with them and trying to support them. Certainly NOT laugh at them.

As for the barf… what? Isn’t that just the BEST part of being a mom?

Well Jen, it’s official, your computer hates me. No matter how many times that I enter my personal info…It never remembers me.
I didn’t actually hear this interview, but I’ve heard from others that these comments are made.
At this point I beleive everything…and nothing as well.

Yay for Badger! Yay for everyone who is doing so much to help these folks out in their time of dire need. We may not be able to count on our government but we can count on the kind hearts of ordinary people.
